The Requirements

  • Each applicant must have earned one of the following educational credentials from a recognized organization (official documentation must be provided with application):

    High school diploma or equivalent

    General Educational Development (GED®) certificate

    Post-secondary degree

    Professional degree

  • Prior education history must meet at least one of the following criteria:

    1. Have earned a qualifying Associate Degree or higher from a recognized post-secondary institution

    2. Have earned a high school diploma or the equivalent, as well as completed an appropriate amount of qualifying college-level work at recognized post-secondary institutions, with grades of at least C (70%) or a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 2.00 (on a 4.0 scale).

    3. Students may have the option to join an undergraduate pathway program if their GPA does not qualify for direct entry into a bachelor’s degree program

  • Applicants must show evidence of college-level skills appropriate to the chosen program in at least one of the following ways:

    1. Attain appropriate scores on IGNITE- administered placement examinations 

    2. Submit required documentation indicating acceptable grades in qualifying work completed at a recognized institution

The Process

  • All prospective students must complete the online application form for consideration. Candidates must submit any relevant paperwork, test scores, and credentials at that time.

  • Prospective students must take Ignite administered placement examinations during the enrollment process OR submit proper documentation that showcases college-level skills. All examination scores or paperwork must be submitted by the proper deadlines for the semester the student is applying for.

  • All perspective students must complete and in-person or phone interview with an Enrollment Specialist to determine your educational track upon application acceptance.

  • Upon meeting the general and specific admission requirements including age, prior education, and proficiency in prerequisite skills for college-level work, accepted students will receive their letter of admission acceptance and can begin registering for appropriate classes.

    Enrollees must pay an $80 Registration Fee upon acceptance.
